These are the Carriage Rest Tales terms of use for their social platforms, website, and subscription memberships. They apply to all users of the Carriage Rest Tales community and various platforms. “We,” “our” or “us” refers to Carriage Rest Games. “Carriage Rest Tales” refers to our podcast and the platforms and the services offered by us. By using Carriage Rest Tales subscriptions and social media platforms, you agree to these terms and to the other policies listed below. Please read them carefully and let us know if you have any questions.
Website Host
Carriage Rest Tales utilizes the website host provider, Wix, as both our website host as well as our payment processor. As such we will comply with all their existing policies, which can be found by visiting support.wix.com. Below are some links to the more popular policies:
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old or have your parent’s permission to register for one of our subscription plans. You are responsible for your account. When you create an account you must provide us with accurate information, in good faith, and you agree to keep your information updated if it changes. You are responsible for anything that occurs when anyone is signed into your account, as well as the security of your account. Please contact us at podcast@carriageresttales.com immediately if you believe your account is compromised.
Abusive conduct
Be responsible and don’t violate our policies. You are responsible for all activity on your account. If you violate our policies, we may terminate your account or block you from our social platforms. Don’t do anything illegal, abusive towards others, or anything that abuses our site or platforms in a technical way. You can find more detailed information below in our Community Guidelines and Security Policy sections. These policies cover most issues, but if you find a new and creative way to hurt Carriage Rest Tales or our community, we may take action to prevent it.
being a Carriage Rest Tales Subscriber
A “Subscriber’ is someone who has purchased a paid memberships plan from the Carriage Rest Tales website. Through a paid membership, Subscribers directly support the Carriage Rest Tales Podcast monetarily, and in return gain additional member level benefits.
As a Subscriber, you are part of an exciting movement to help support the Carriage Rest Tales Podcast, while receiving some special benefits, which may include access to your creator, merchandise (when offered), exclusivity, and engaging experiences with the creators and their community. In exchange, you pay Carriage Rest Tales for a membership program, on a subscription basis. The amount of each membership subscription depends on the type of membership agreement you have entered. You can see the details as you join, as well as in the receipt sent to you after each successful payment. You can view all your active membership subscriptions, billing history, and cancel your membership on your membership page.
To become a Carriage Rest Tales Subscriber, simply create an account, add your preferred payment method, and join a membership plan. Currently there is only one type of membership subscriptions, which is a monthly subscription where you pay per month. You may cancel your membership payments at any time. Terminating your membership will go into effect in the subsequent (not current) payment term. You will maintain your membership access through the remainder of your current payment term. Payment method failures will be treated as a membership cancelation.
If you are located in a jurisdiction in which Carriage Rest Tales membership plans are required to charge and collect tax (e.g. VAT or, sales tax), then this tax will be added to the total charge. Except in limited circumstances, this tax is shown when you set up the initial membership subscription. Carriage Rest Tale remits all tax collected to the applicable taxing authority. As tax is largely dependent on your location, you are responsible for keeping your address complete and up to date.
Depending on your location, some banks may charge you a foreign transaction fee for your membership subscription. Carriage Rest Tales does not control this charge, but it is typically around 3%. Please contact your bank for more information.
Refund Policy
Our policy is No Refunds, though we will allow for some exceptions where refunds are granted in our sole discretion.

Community Guidelines
Effective Date: Sept 2, 2022
General Community Guidelines
Be respectful to the people in the Carriage Rest Tales community. People are inherently different and unique, no two people are alike, and we love that. Having a diverse community is a beautiful thing, a community where our differences can be celebrated, and our creativity can thrive. We want the Carriage Rest Tales community to be an intimate and safe place for everyone to enjoy, so please keep that in mind while interacting in our community.
Family Friendly, PG-13 themes
We strive to create a community that is inclusive and diverse, but also family friendly and wholesome. As such we ask that all users of our online community keep the public spaces (meaning profile pictures, public comments, page banners, etc.) appropriate for all audiences.
How these guidelines are enforced
Please realize that Carriage Rest Tales is a diverse community and, while you may not necessarily agree with someone’s point of view, it may not be a violation of our Community Guidelines. That said, if you see a post or comment on one of the Carriage Rest Tales platforms that you feel violates our community guidelines, please take the time to report them by emailing us at podcast@carriageresttales.com. We always want our community to feel like they have an open line of communication to us. So how does this translate to moderation? Our first reflex is always to try to educate the offender, to help them understand how a rule has been broken and how to remedy the issue. In cases where the violation is particularly bad, or intentional, we may take further action such as suspending or removing their account, blocking them from our social media, or contacting law enforcement.
Be safe and be respectful
These Community Guidelines exist to shape and guide our online community, this is not about building an arbitrary framework of “right” or “wrong.” It’s about making Carriage Rest Tales a safe place where supporters and fans can come together and share in their excitement, suggestion new ideas, or just have general chat, while still allowing for different—and sometimes even conflicting—points of view. These guidelines are intended to be a living internal policy, that will change and adjust with our growing community. If you have suggestions, please let us know at podcast@carriageresttales.com.
Bullying, harassment, and threats
We don’t allow bullying or harassment because we want the Carriage Rest Tales community to feel like a safe place for our supporters and fans. At the same time, we want people to be able to express themselves, be critical, and discuss differences safely. We recognize that discussing celebrities, media or other public figures can sometimes involve harsh criticism, and we believe that is an appropriate part of free debate. However, we draw the line when it comes to harassing private figures or taking any action that might affect someone’s physical safety, regardless of whether these people are private or public figures. As much as we want you to be able to express yourself, we want all our members to have the right to express their opinion without feeling intimidated. Even the most difficult conversations should take place in the most respectful way. Here is how we define these behaviors.
Bullying and harassment:
You cannot attempt to intimidate anyone, either directly or by using your influence over others. We treat real-life interactions more seriously than online interactions when analyzing whether a line has been crossed because it can be more threatening and lead to physical violence.
Threats:
Anyone on the Carriage Rest Tales community should be able to express their opinion in a way that doesn’t threaten another person. In this respect, we take threats of violence very seriously. Any individual or group threatening the well-being of another individual or group will be removed. This includes threatening behavior such as stalking or inciting others to commit violent acts. If you are a victim of this behavior and feel that your personal safety is at risk, we suggest you contact your local law enforcement, in addition to reporting the behavior to us at podcast@carriageresttales.com.
Hate speech
There is no room on the Carriage Rest Tales community for hate speech, such as calling for violence, exclusion, or segregation. This includes serious attacks on people based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious medical conditions, caste, or immigration status.
When reviewing an account or a comment for a potential hate speech violation, we consider some of the following questions:
-
Is there a call for violence against someone based on a characteristic like those listed above?
-
Does a comment or post use dehumanizing language when talking about people based on one of the above characteristics?
-
Is a comment or post using racial slurs or negative depictions of someone based on a characteristic like those listed above?
-
Does a comment or post mock or deny the experience of victims of hate crimes, such as the Holocaust?
-
Is a comment or post targeting people based on their immigration status in a discriminatory way or simply discussing immigration policy?
-
Does a comment or post have a legitimate criticism of a State, institution, or belief or does the context make it clear that the user is using code words or proxies to attack people based on the above characteristics?
This list is not exhaustive, but we want to be transparent about how we work within the gray areas between speech and action. There can be a fine line between political comments and hate speech. If you come across what you believe to be hate speech on a Carriage Rest Tales platform, please take the time to report it at podcast@carriageresttales.com.
Doxing
We take a strong stance against doxing, which is the sharing of an individual’s private information or aggregating their public information for the purpose of intimidating them through harassment. We take this stance against doxing because it is used to silence or intimidate people with different viewpoints on the internet. It can cause extensive emotional trauma and can put the victim’s physical safety at risk. The most classic form of doxing is when an individual’s private personal information is shared. This could be information such as a phone number or home address. The definition of private personal information can vary and may mean that it is simply very difficult to find. We also consider it to be doxing when an individual’s non-private information is aggregated. For example, we would consider it doxing if someone’s profile picture was combined with their real name, all their known social media accounts, and the city they lived in.
No matter the specific information shared, we also evaluate the context around why it was shared. If it looks like this information is being shared for the purpose of making it easier for a large group to harass that individual, we are likely to consider it doxing.
When doxing takes place, we lose the ability to have conversations. Doxing isn’t speech countering speech; it is speech shutting down others’ ability to speak. It removes our ability to discuss ideas, grow as individuals and have a safe space for disagreement.
